9/11/01

I am just letting all of you know that on the 11th of next month is coming up soon meaning 9/11/01. I will never forget that day and my prayers goes out to those who died on that horific day. Also Firefighter angels watches over them every day and night. I again pray for our troops who are fighting over there every day.

anyone remember the freedom towers...they were suppose to be completed by 9/11/11....they got a year and a month and i dont see anyhting happening

If they want to build a mosque at Block X away from Ground Zero...fine....but not at Ground Zero, across the street

2 Blocks away is across the street?

I was, a couple of weeks ago. Friend works in one of the new buildings that borders WTC site. A lot of progress.

No amount of common sense is going to sway those that are anti-....well anyone that isn't like them. The constitution will be quoted chapter and verse (sorry for that reference) to bolster their argument about xmas decorations and other similar nonsense but when it comes to something they know next to nothing about (which, as indicated throughout this site comprises a huge amount of territory) they revert to their default position - blessed ignorance and righteous indignation. One can only assume that, based on the prevailing viewpoint(s), the lamb will NEVER (be allowed to) lay down with the lion.

That's wha I mean Jack. I was in NYC last year and there wasn't much to see. Went there again this June with family and was astonished by how much progress has been going. Although I do believe I heard of 2014 as a complete date, not 2011.
