Bull,

You sound rather defensive.

I doubt very many paid guys would say "Only on a volly dept". I think they would be more likely to say something like - rightly or wrongly - "Typical of a volly department". You would know better than I if the "typical" comment would be accurate.

Good debate just remember a few basic tips:
Uphill/Upwind
Watch overhead
Keep hoseline out of the fuel
PPE can't believe we still have to say that
Class B foam works wonders old school
It's totalled be careful not stupid
