Yeah, yeah, yeah; maybe this should be in the Off Duty, but I want to reach as many as I can and it would appear that the General Discussions get more views, so here is my question:
What do you consider cheating?
Give me an example of cheating; personal or otherwise.
Give my blog a view: http://www.firefighternation.com/profiles/blogs/your-cheatin-heart
And thank you for your participation.

Stop stealing Jack's best stuff, Crabbe.

Nah, that isn't his best stuff, I seen some good stuff from Jack....I don't know where he finds some pics and stuff, but he has some good stuff left I'm sure.
Cheating is depriving EVERYBODY of the best.

Sure, you could sit at a test and cheat, you would get momentary satisfaction or maybe even get the desired end result. But are you know the best person for the job? If you had to cut corners, or you did not learn the material..are you really the person I want for the job? Fire Department or not, if you cheated you ARE NOT the best and I DO NOT want to work with or for you!

Cheating is prevalent in our society and the younger generations are condoning it more and more. To them the end DOES justify the means. The fire department is part of that great society as well. I have always said that the worst thing about fire departments is that they are still made up of human beings. We all know that there are certain groups both within and without the fire service that consider us heroes. Maybe in some strange way we are. (Ironworkers...those are my heroes!!!) When you are held to such high esteem by citizens..it makes the fall all the harder. The fall is for you (the cheater in this case) or the department or the fire service as a whole.

Back in the days of dinosaurs when I first started working, I had someone say that they would do ANYTHING to get the job as long as it was legal, moral or ethical. NICE...In the time since then I have had recruits, trainees, and others say it would be ANYTHING..When I inquired about the legal, moral, ethical part, they just said...NO...that doesnt matter...ANYTHING

Sad state of affairs I would say!
Placing a long pipe onto a socket wrench for leverage.

i.e. Cheater bar.
