Training in a small Volunteer Dept

Im a line officer with a small rural volunteer dept. Recently it was brought to my attention that some of my guys are getting bored with training. Does anyone have any new training ideas that may catch the attention of my dept?

Try setting up scenarios. Our guys like it, because it gives them a chance to use their skills and it gives them a feeling of accomplishment at the end. It will also give you a chance to evaluate them and get an idea for future training needs.
