2007 f550 700 gal stainless tank built and designed my self took 150 man hours my old truck was a 1949 duece and a half

Do you use the front bumper for Firefighters to stand on?
The DNRC unit I work for has 8 type 6 engines staffed from June though the middle of Sept. 6-F450 with 300 gal tanks and 2-F550 with 500 gal. tanks. We are replacing 2 engines this yr with F550 extended cabs with 500 gal tanks. I 'm running a 2005 F450 at this time. Might get 1 of the new ones this spring.

Have you folks ever had a problem with the duallies getting stuck? We have had a few in our are get stuck from the mud geting packed between the tires.
yes we do I have found that it is the only way to go if the platform is designed right and it is safe I know some frown on this practice but we have never had a problem
usually when we are stuck we are stuck it would not matter the truck has plenty of power to turn tires full of mud or not
This is are brush truck my deptment bought at FDIC. We also use it in bad weather for medical runs. Its perfect for are department. It has A foam inductor that makes the 250 gal water supply go alot farther also has 3 front sprayers that can be operated independently from inside the cab.
