For some of the engine people who saw the group "Cancel The Engine" and thought there was some shiny object on here for them, and now they aren't quite sure:

You know you are a truckie if, when called to a medical, the tool you bring inside is a shovel.

The rest of you, feel free to fill in the blanks.

You know your a truckie when you spend more time on a ladder in the air than utility workers, when your truck goes out of service and your riding the kitty cart engine the first thing you jump out and grab is the fly ladder off the ladder rack, you get pissed when you tell people your a firefighter and they say "oh! you put the wet stuff on the red stuff." When someone says "overhaul" you think it has nothing to do with cars.
you know you are a truckie if you have even opened an anvil just to see what was inside

you know you are a truckie if your idea of a master key is a haligan bar, and if you have ever been offered a master key on a job and said No thanks I have my own!

you know you are a truckie if you have ever floded a steel door in half just using the irons

ARRGGHHHH !!!!
You know you are a truckie if you can make the hosting mutual aid engine officer cry because you toasted his definition of a saw.

Or even, perhaps, you know you are a truckie if, while the IC is off looking for a key holder, you and your company gain entry with little damage, find the burnt toast, and air the residence out before he/she returns from their 'critical mission'.
that's great... original?
You know you are a truckie when you pull up on a room and contents fire on the second in engine and aproach the house with a 6' plaster hook, a set of irons, and the PPV fan and get upset when you hear the fire is already out!
I forgot there was another kind of overhaul....
I tried to come up with something not already said. I failed got nothing. All I can say is irons or hook and can.

When a paramedic asks for a "4 x 4", you hand him a piece of cribbing instead of a sterile dressing.
