yeah, it was my first real thread, and when ive tryed to do stuff like this before on other places, i ususaly get sworn at, but thats because all they do is like talk about sex and stuff, oh well

"You go - We go" I *think* that is from Backdraft.
Quotes from my chief that usually ended up in every fire station in the county:
FF asks Chief what started the fire - "A little tiny flame about ___this tall"
Chief to anyone whining & complaining - "If you can't take the heat - get out of the fire house"
Chief to a citizen complaining about apparatus on his street - "When you call the Fire department You are GONNA get fire trucks." or "Kinda hard to haul all that water in my back seat"
"You guys coulda put that out with a couple beers & a kidney problem"
"Puttin' water on smoke don't stop the fire from burning"
"What were you doin' in there? Trying to BLOW it out?"
My favorite one was while responding to a barn fire,it was maybe my 3rd call as a fire fighter instead of an auxiliary member, I'm riding shot-gun, could see the smoke miles from the fire as we rounded the bend to where we could SEE it - Chief looked @ it & then looked @ me & said "Damn, 'ats a big FAR. Ya THINK we gonna need s'more water?" That was one of those YOU HAD TO BE THERE things but we laughed about it for years.
In the days before 9-1-1 when we were all on highband radios with our own channel, going to the umpteenth brushfire of the day someone would inevitably key up & ask "Who's turn to bring the wennies?"
