OK, WebChief:
I have come out from hiding behind some sick, username and will from now on, go by my REAL name.
And my department is listed. I am not ashamed of it, nor will I bring shame to it. I think I have demonstrated that I can have a respectful discussion, although others can't and that would explain why some of my discussions have been deleted.
Will this request for everyone to consider using their real names improve the "quality" of incoming members or perhaps clean up some of the current members?
Here's one to consider:
If someone is not inclined to use their real name here, then why not create another website for buffs, whackers and pretenders?
What about the ones who are not affiliated with a fire department, but will use their real name?
What about the ones who are on a fire department and for a very personal reason, do not wish to use their real name?
Can we pick out some cute nick names for our friends?
Just a thought.
Do you know how many people still know me as ChiefReason?
xchief22 is on my Harley's license plate and it's going to stay there, so don't even think about it.
Come on, you anonymous bunch of cyber soldiers. Show yourselves.
TCSS.

Siren, Siren Siren...

"Nom de Plume"?

Did you really use that in a firefighters forum?

The spellcheck challenged have a hard enough time with good ol' english.
So for those who couldn't figure out what our favorite wordsmith was saying, you can just call it a "pen name".

As for your moniker hon...It fits you prefectly, and having gone thru the whole online stalker thing a few years ago, I fully appreciate your reasoning behind not broadcasting your given name.

Now as for Al...one minute longer and you're over cooked!
What about the ones who are not affiliated with a fire department
So where does that leave people like me who I openly admit are not affiliated with a fire department but run a commercial business training Industrial ERT's, etc?

We teach rope rescue, confined space rescue, fire fighting, building evacuation, etc....
You'll do.
She emailed me with her name and I think Moneypenny fits her well.
I wish I could be so famous as to have only one name.
Way to use your noodle, there, Al Dente!

Brother...Im from Texas. It's better than "Ma'am". They get really testy over that one...like I called 'em old or something!

As for the stalking thing...just remember that 1000' rule.
Know it, Love it, Live it!
I bit the bullet and changed my name, but now I'm bored with it.

I dunno....maybe something flashier like "Spider LeRoux" might do it....
Paris Gotcash sounds like a porn name!!!
thats some Lifetime channel shit Dan
401-867-5309 (Gem Plumbers) No, I personally didn't call, the radio ad is on the sports radio all the time. (weei) It would be funny if they had someone working named Jenny :)
Now I thought all phone number in the USA began with 555 - that's all we ever see in the movies, so it must be real, isn't it?
Not that I know what porn names sound like....
you better extend that name under the Jake and Vinnie name, it is awesome :)
