This is much faster than taking the stairs! Stuntman Steve Truglia abseiled 100 m (328 ft 1 in) in 8.99 sec from the Centre Point tower, London, UK, on 4 September 2004, for the Guinness World Records: 50 Years, 50 Records TV show.
