2nd Alarm Fire at 892 Main Street, Worcester, MA on March 5, 2010. Companies arrived on scene to smoke showing from a row of stores with fire in the basement. Heavy fire load, an extremely cluttered basement and rapidly deteriorating conditions finally forced firefighters into a defensive attack. After over 3 hours of multiple master streams and ladder pipes in operation the basement was finally overflowing with water and the flames were extinguished.
