Wheeling (WV) Structure Fire with Trapped Occupant

Wheeling Firefighters were dispatch to a report of a possible structure fire with an occupant trapped inside. Rescue 1, Engine 2, Engine 5, Ladder 1, Squad 2 and C-3 responded to the incident. Rescue 1 arrived on scene with a 2 story row house with smoke showing. A crew immediately entered the house to search and found the person on the floor near the living room.The fire was contained to furniture and was an easy stop firefighters. There was no fire extension. Crews ventilated and took up. The patient was treated on the scene and immediately transported to the hospital.
