Water Rescue
Rochester Firefighters responded this evening for the report of a child drowning in a pool. Engine 8 was advised that the child was drowning in a pond and that a water rescue assignment was started. Engine 8 went on location and confirmed a child under the water. Rochester Firefighters searched the water numerous times but were unable to locate the child. Once the SCUBA team went into the water, the child was quickly located and transported to the hospital.
