Wall Collapse Kills Netherlands' Firefighter

Firefighter Close Calls. 44-year-old Firefighter Wiebe de Vries, of the Veendam Fire Brigade and also an officer of that municipality, was killed in the Line of Duty Monday when a wall collapsed at a working shopping center fire. He leaves behind his Wife and 3 children. One other Firefighter was hurt but with NLT injuries.
