On 2/28/2009 at approximately 1100 hours, Allegany County dispatched Station 22 (Potomac Fire Company) and Station 24 (Tri-Towns Fire Comapny) for a vehicle fire on Route 135 west of Westernport, MD. Engine Tanker 22 responded with 8 Volunteers. Engine 24 with 4, Squad 22 with 4, and Westernport PD were also on the scene. Dash Camera footage from ET 22 of the response, Dash Camera footage from ET 22 on the scene, and FC II Helmet Camera footage from Asst Chief 22 (Derham).

Wow, another 4 year veteran salty dog!!!!! I feel that our fire company has very good training when it comes to firefighting. I quess 2 minutes and 30 seconds is not good enough for " SULLY" for putting out a vehicle fire. I guess your were not watching the same video, because I only see one hand line in service. Now we did have a total of 8 firefighters on the Engine Tanker but I quess that is a bad thing to have that much manpower on a vehicle fire. Come on Man! Keep your negative comments to yourself.

what i don't understand is why did it take six guys and 2 jiffy hand lines to put out a small car fire. your fire department needs some training on putting out a car fire.
