Calls started to come into the fire alarm office around 9pm on Thurs March 24, 2010 reporting flames from a house on Log Rd.

A vacant 1 sty 20x20 house was burning for some time before firefighters were notified because upon arrival, the house had already collapsed into a pile of rubble. The house, which was set a few hundred feet into the woods still had electricity going to it and the power company was called to cut the power.

No injuries were reported.
