Good Heavens, what an event. What a combination - a heavy dump truck train (truck pulling a trailer), a gasoline tanker, and illegally stored fireworks. I'm glad no one was seriously injured, especially the firefighters. I saw that the firetrucks and manpower were stationed fairly far away from the incident. Thanks for the info and for the links. Have a good and safe Fourth of July holiday.
Also it was a pretty warm and humid day, so lots of mutual aid was called for man power and tankers. Also a foarm turck that is used for large air plane accidents was called in from the air national guard base which is located 45 minutes from the fire scene.
A dump truck pulling a tailer with paving equipment was in the prcocess of making a left turn into a small parking lot to do a U turn just after it cleared a small hill. A tanker with 3,000 gallons of gasoline came up over the hill and had no where to go since the dump truck was in the middle of the turn. The gasoline tanker hit the dump truck and burst into flames and the fire spread to a near by ware house.
Both drivers manage to escape with a few burns the dump truck driver was ticket and the owner of the ware house was ticker for storing illegal fire works in the build that ignited during the fire.
