No safety equipment? We are on a full belay system. The blue rope is safety. The orange is our "lifeline".

I noticed no safety equipment apparent for this training. We had a firefighter fall 2 weeks ago doing this maneuver without a tether. He is on extended medical leave with signifcant injuries. At age 54 I doubt he'll be back. Our city insurance company shut down the bail-out training because of it. This is good training, not to mention kinda fun, but lets be smart and safe when we're doing it and take the risks only when necessary.
