Yes i would you do not know what you can learn from a video. This was not my dept. it was a mutial aid co. they have already put into place changes from what was done wrong.

The engine placement is fine, they're blocking the blind side of the curve on the side of the fire, which is good. I see no evidence that they are downhill, with the crown of the road any water is gonna run off into the ditch. The people running around the scene in shorts is stupid.

haha, lets not foget the basics here, Park UPHILL from the vehicle, approach from 45 degrees, WEAR SCBA, not send the guy with the airpack back to the truck for tools??

i was talking about the first firefighter that went to open it up, at lease he had on ppe, could of had on a air tank though, not the moron that had no gear on, he should have stayed behind and sold hotdogs to the public.

No he wasn't safe to open it up, he should not have been in the "action circle" at all unless he had the appropriate gear. Quoting Mr. Walker, no gear stay at the station.

There was no fire in the engine compartment so he was safe to open it up, only if there was a fire in the engine compartment would i worry but to have what appears to be two fellow firefighters on the scene with no turnout gear on a working car fire is completely stupid!!. Their fire unit is on scene, to close and down hill of the fire. They need to work on the s.o.p for these fires before they kill or injure someone.
