Around 9am, Firefighters from Salisbury Fire Department were returning from a call when they notices smoke coming from around a house on High St. Upon further investigation they found the house to be on fire and notified Wicomico Central. Central the alerted Stations 16, 2, and 1 of the house fire. Shortly after being on scene, Command requested that Station 3 Fruitland, and Station 5 Hebron also be alerted to assist. Three businesses occupied the house, and were all three lost. Crews were on scene for 3-4 hours.
