Rescues at New York Motel Fire
PM2473 - Firefighters from North Amityville, Amityville, Copiague, North Lindenhurst, East Famringdale Famringdale and Lindenhurst respond to the Sayonara Motel on Route 110 about 5:35 a.m. Sunday. Heavy fire on the second floor in multiple rooms and cockloft. Four people were rescued via ground ladders, one did not survive.
