If you would like to think he lived through it, I can tell you the guys that responded to it. It happened in my town. As far as the dent in the roof spared him, you will notice that the undercarriage of the vehicle is what wipes him out. Furthermore, it has examined to find that the guy was walking against the light anyway, and was in a direct line to have been struck by the oncoming car, if the car would not have avoided him (reconstructionist opinion). So if you think he lived check with Montgomery County Coroners Office in Dayton, Ohio and see what they say about his stay there. FYI

guy lived on the crosswalk, the dented in part of the vehicle hit is what rolled over him, spared him
