Today, four days after this quake, a 5.6 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Mexico. The geological time clock is still ticking away, and it's been a long time since the west coast has experienced a severe earthquake. The earth is moving but the question is not whether the infamous San Andreas fault will go off but when... Other places within the continental USA are also experiencing earthquakes, which means we all have to pay attention to what's happening around the globe, preplanning our own communities to be as prepared as possible.
