Ontario Building Fire
October 25, 2009. On Sunday afternoon, a fire began in the basement of the Copper Leaf, a gardening store on Queen Street in the picturesque and historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The fire spread to other adjacent buildings as many spectators watched firefighters attempt to calm the flames. Unfortunately several people lost their homes. Although no one was injured, a cat living in one of the homes died :( Such a sad sight.... God bless the people whose lives were affected from this fire! I couldn't tape much more of this, it was just too sad to watch.
