North Whitehall, PA Dwelling Fire
In the morning hours of Feruary 27, 2009, North Whitehall firefighters where sent to Route 309 and Shankweiler Road for the reported dwelling fire. Upon arrival command reported the building well involved and requested the second alarm. A tanker task force was also requested due to lack of hydrants in the area. Firefighters battled the fire and winds for over an hour before bringing the fire under control. No injuries were reported.
