The Hagerman Fire Department responded to a mutual aid to the North Patchogue Fire Department for a working residential structure fire. North Patchogue's Chief was first on scene and reactivated for a working fire in a 1 story occupied dwelling with heavy fire and smoke showing. Units worked quickly to extinguish the fire but due to the layout and where the fire was located it made their job that much more difficult, the house was a total loss, but a great job was done by all.
