Nazareth, Pa-- The fire broke out around 2:00 this afternoon at 40 N. Green Street and was well off on arrival blowing out the first and second floor windows.

Arriving Nazareth and Upper Nazareth companies went to work stretching a line to the first and 2nd floors knocking down the fire rather quickly. The fire made extension into the attic of the 2nd apartment forcing crews to open the roof.

Crews made access to the 2nd unit and appeared to hold the fire, the 3rd unit had extensive smoke pushing from the eves but did not appear to be affected by fire.

Eight people were reported to be displaced by the fire negative injuries were reported.
