What I understand here is if first reponder's video showing that for first six minutes of this fire, there was chance to save this house....If first reponder could have shut down any perticular valves supplying gas to that meter system- if he had knowledge of that than this incident have different story...This happen in Feb of 2003...

It's hard to comment without full knowledge of this situation, but based on what I 'm seeing, I don't see anyone I would classify as a viable first responder. In my department an individual would be required to be in full PPE with backup and a hoseline brfore being permitted to approach this situation. All the personel I see are in strreet dress
If the damage is at the meter it's possible you may need to close the gas main at the street and few fire companies have the tools or the knowledge of those locations to shut this off.
If I'm wrong then I appologize for answering without enough knowledge but if if was my crew arriving as first responders evacuation and initial size up is all I would want them to do prior to the arival of apparatus and properly equipped firefighters.
