This video is bystander footage from a single family house fire in the Boulevard Heights section of Prince Georges County, Maryland. First arriving units found fire involving the front portion of the home and extending into the addition. A circle check, clear basement, and the lack of a roof in involved section showed first arriving units that an aggressive interior attack was warranted. Watch as engine crews from PG County station 26 and 8 show what 2 well placed and advanced 1 1/2" attack lines can do to a fire.

I'm not following the previous three comments on the risk of this fire. I see little risk given the size up. If collapse potential is the concern, most of that was eliminated prior to arrival,........ it appears.

the risk vs gain was definetly not in in their favor but they took names and kicked some butt! Good hit guys. Everybody goes home.

My sentiments exactly . Risk a lot to save a lot. Not to criticize some brave brothers but for what ?
