Minutes before waking up for school, mom runs in and yells something I heard to be "House on Fire"
I jumped out and ran to the living room seeing no fire in the house then looking up, seeing a fire across the street.

Right at about the 3:11 mark is a perfect example of why we wear out PPE properly. A fairly large chunk of burning wood comes down and breaks across the top of the nozzleman's head. As it did so, it showered him with burning embers. He barely flinched.

By far a salvageable house. I would have had to be on scene to see "c" side conditions and access routes. If it was better I would have attacked from the rear but if not an aggressive attack from the front should do it. They did need a little more water usage on the initial assent and I would prepaired a little farther away. Also nozzel man went into the structure with about a 30° fog and I would have used a strait stream and knocked down all fire as I was ascending the stairs and making entry. But you kinda of have to beon scene to make a sound judgment.
