NewsWorking - The box was transmitted at 23:50 hours for a structural fire at 4765 Main Street at the Egypt Laundromat. Engines 4, 5, Ladder 6 and Rescue 8 respond to the box. Engine 4 arrives and transmits "heavy smoke showing."

Engine 4 stretches one hand line into the building to find a dryer on fire with some extension into the ceiling. Engine 5 lays in from the hydrant to Engine 4.

Deputy Chief Schafer transmits the under control at 00:03 hours. Crews start overhauling and checking for more extension. The gas station connected to the west had to be vented.

The truck and rescue companies from Fullerton helped out with overhaul and checked the roof of the original fire building.

A civilian used a fire extinguisher on the fire before the fire department arrived.
