firelensman - 8-1-2015 Los Angeles Firefighters, Task Force 11, Task Force 29, Light Force 26, Battalion 11 first on scene at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard & Kenmore Avenue had light to moderate smoke showing from a small one story restaurant in Koreatown. Firefighters quickly stretched lines and vented the roof, letting the heat escape, preventing the fire from taking hold of the attic space above. At the same time a roof line quickly snuffed out the flame emanating from below. The fire was brought under control in less than 30 minutes. Smoke damage was extensive, there were no reported injuries. The L.A. County Health Department was notified of a restaurant fire. - MNR -
