Vernon, I meant no disrespect with my comment and I agree it is a tough job to keep everyone "happy" and cool when training in the heat. We're in the process of building a training trailer and any ideas for props I can pick up is helpful. Stay safe and cool in the south from a brother in the north.
Clay, were in South Louisiana where the temps. run up to 95-100 degrees with feels like temps in the 105-114 degrees. We also train while on duty so I have to try and keep the guys cool as I can. But I do agree full PPE is needed at all times and I keep a close eye out during each evolution. Thanks for the comments and Train like you fight. See you at the next one.............

Cool prop, but train like it's the way you're going to do it at a scene. Proper PPE will make you more confident and knowing how you'll handle the tool with all the gear on. Just my 2 cents, stay safe.
