HOBOKEN, NJ-- A 4-alarm fire damaged all five floors at 300 Washington Street Sunday night, the call came in around 7pm which housed a convenience store with apartments above.
On our arrival crews from Hoboken, Newark and Elizabeth were working the fire from 3rd and 4th floors but eventually pulled out when the fire jumped to the 5th. Flames could be seen running up to the roof where it broke through causing a partial collapse of the fourth and fifth floors.
Companies were still extinguishing fire on the roof and 5th floor when we departed around 10:30pm.
