Gary (IN) House Fire, Lone Engine Co.
October 1, 2009. Crews were dispatched to a reported still alarm in the 4400 block of Pennsylvania 10-01-09, by the time I got there the fire was completely out so I headed home. Seconds after I turned around another still came in in the 3800 Block of Carolina. Due to the fact all south side companies were working the other still only one engine was close and that was Engine 12. Crews made entry after knocking the exterior fire and kept it from extending. Nobody was injured at the fire scene.
