FRANKLIN TWP, NJ. 2ND ALARM VACANT BUILDING FIRE 7-20-12

Franklin Township, NJ.-- District 3 companies were alerted around 10:30pm for a working structure fire in the 500 block of Hamilton Blvd. Arriving companies found a 3 story vacant building with heavy fire blowing out 0f the 2nd and 3rd floors. CMD requested a 2nd alarm on arrival and advised defense operations and large lines to be placed in service. Crews set up master streams along with 2.5's and ladder pipe operations. Companies had the fire knocked down roughly 40 mins in just upon my arrival. Negative injuries were reported.
