Don Counts - Flintville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department fire truck pump class. When you're in a small fire department everyone can and will be a pump operator. In our small of Lincoln County Tennessee town, we do not hook the fire truck hydrants, we haul the water in tanker trucks to the fire scene and dump the water pools called dump tanks where it is then pumped into the pumper out to the hoses to the fire.
