In the video, the temperature gets up to over 900 degrees and a few moments after the FIT-5 is deployed, the temperature drops down below 300 degrees. After 7 minutes we opened up the room, we allowed the fire to build back up and then fully extinguished the fire. In both training sessions the FIT-5 kept the fire knocked down for 7-8 minutes. We all know that, any amount of extra time can be a tremendous benefit on the fireground.

FYI, the Shelter Island FD was in the very beginning of the video, they purchased and then utilized a FIT-5 in a basement fire. The Chief, stated "that it saved the house"
