Firefighter Rescue: Using a Personal Escape System - Wrapping the Hook and Carabiner

This video demonstrates how a Personal Escape/Safety System can be used to rescue a fellow Firefighter. It's important to note that Escape/Safety Systems are designed for a single use/single load application - The evolution shown is a life and death procedure that should only be attempted after extensive training and when all other means of rescue or escape have been exhausted or are not available. Always incorporate full fall arrest protection when practicing any of the procedures shown in this video.
