Fire tears through the roof in Providence
Heavy fire was venting from the rear of the 1st and 2nd floors of this Violet St. home around 9pm on March 10, 10 upon firefighters arrival. Textbook venting of the roof allowed the fire and smoke to vent as engine companies made their usual aggressive interior attack and brought the heavy fire quickly under control.
No injuries were reported.
