FDNY, Tunnel to Towers Run
September 27, 2009. On 9/11 343 fire fighers were killed as we all know. I have been to every memorial for 6 years since. missed 2. i have heard the names of the dead called out for hours and hours. Seeing 343 firefighters walking by me today with the names/photos of those killed around their neck really drove it home whats its like to lose so many. the line of firefighters went on for whats seems to be a block or two. 2 and 4 deep. see for yourself and reflect.
