FDNY Queens 6th Alarm Fire
FDNY QUEENS 6th ALARM BOX 8582 On February 12th 2009. Location at 91 Ave & 96th Street in the Woodhaven section of Queens, N.Y. The fire started in a 2 story attached frame. Strong 40 to 60 MPH winds helped spread the fire in the common cockloft throughout 12 dwellings, 5 tower ladders and 9 handlines were utilized at the scene. There were 8 minor injuries reported.
