FDNY battles 3rd Alarm - taste the action in this video!

Just after 21:30 hours, Manhattan transmitted box 0815 (8th & 45th) for a fire located at 359 W. 45th Street in the Hell's Kitchen section of the city. Battalion 9 arrives and reports a 5-story occupied apartment building with fire on the top floor and transmits the 10-75. Shortly after, "All Hands Going to Work" was transmitted.

As the fire extended into the cockloft, BN9 transmitted the second alarm. Companies opened up and searched. Eleven people were injured including five firefighters. The fire went to 3 alarms.

The "under control" was transmitted at 23:44 hours.
