Fatal High Speed Head On With Extrication - Spanaway WA

June 16, 2007. 6:30am. The 21500 block of Highway 7 in Spanaway, WA. The driver of the white F150 was at fault and died at the scene. Drugs or alchohol was not involved. It's believed that the driver had fallen asleep at the wheel or more than likely had some type of medical problem prior to the crash. CPR was peformed unsuccessfully. The driver of the Dakota was trapped. It took 40 minutes to extricate the victim. He had serious injuries, but will survive. The Washington State Patrol is investigating the accident.
