ELIZABETH, NJ 2ND ALARM HOUSE FIRE HILLSIDE RD 1-5-13

Elizabeth, NJ-- 153 Hillside Road 2nd alarm house fire.

Companies arrived to 2.5 story wood frame with fire showing from the attic 1st due stretchers a line but has trouble getting to the seat of the fire at the A/D corner. Fire takes off in the attic command strikes a 2nd alarm and puts the back up line in service. Ladder company opens the roof on the A/D corner interior attack lines gain on the fire which appears to be heavily seated to the A/D corner. Command reports all visible fire is knocked down companies will remain on scene for extensive overhaul.
