I've noticed that the FDNY doesnt usuallly use their ladder pipes. It was surprising to see them used on the pier fire they had recently. My guess is that they used the standpipe for this one.

I'd be interested in hearing how FDNY fought this. I never saw any water flowing from the front side elevated master streams (which tactically makes sense), but were there elevated master streams on the back of the building? Did those flow water? Or did crews on the roof fight this with handlines? Was foam used?
