Posted by CuseRecorder on YouTube - At 12:45 East Syracuse Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire on W Manlius St. Car 3 arrived and reported a working fire 99. Car 1 immediately requested and engine from Mattydale and DeWitt to the scene. Engine 4 followed by Engines 1 and 2 made an aggressive push up the rear stairwell into thick smoke and high heat. Truck 1 was able to open up much of the ceiling to catch the fire in the attic in time. Metal roofing held in most of the heat. The fire was contained in 10 minutes. Fire damage was contained to the kitchen on the second floor with smoke damage through out the apartment. One FF suffered moderate burns to his arm and was taken by EAVES for an evaluation.
