That's how it's done. Great job!
I believe those are reg fire gloves...Kangaroo I think. They have a redish color to them like the old rubber ones.

Notice that last FF going up the ladder was wearing the old Red Ball gloves. Nice rubberized glove with some insulation on the inside - they were terrible, feel sorry for those guys if that's what their dept. supplies them with.
