City of Allentown, PA-- Allentown authorities this afternoon said emergency crews have recovered four of five victims killed Wednesday night in a massive explosion that destroyed eight homes and damaged nearly four dozen others.
Two of the dead have been identified by family as William Hall, 79, and his wife, Beatrice Hall, 74. The other victims are a 69-year-old woman, a 16-year-old girl and a 4-month-old boy, authorities said during an afternoon news conference.
The Allentown explosion victims who lived at 542 N. 13th St. were a grandmother, her granddaughter and her infant great-grandson, city Councilman Julio Guridy said in a phone interview after the news conference.
