October 16, 2004. One very lucky teen! The driver lost control on 122nd Street East/ Old Military Road. The trees stopped the decent of the car to the valley floor but created an interesting rescue. Even with the car stabilized, you can see it and the trees sway. The Pierce county high angle rescue team did the extrication and rescue. Puyallup Special Ops, Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, Graham Fire and Rescue, Lakewood, University Place and Gig Harbor. I'm probably missing a few other departments who participated. I'm sorry. The injuries were non life threatening and it all ended well!
