New York City Department of Environmental Protection - Division of Emergency Response and Technical Assessment (DERTA) appartus, CBRNE 2, makes a very rare apperance (at the 22-second time mark in this video, it's the black pierce truck) on the streets of NYC as both it and appartus from NYPD's Emergency Service Unit one rush to an incident. It's unclear if the two trucks are responding to the same incident or what the nature of the incident is. The truck from DERTA is almost certainly responding to a HAZMAT incident as this is their primary purpose where as the truck from ESU could be responding to anything from a HAZMAT incident itself to a tactical situation (heavily armed conflict) or building collapse, etc. because of their diverse set of duties. The area of the city where this video was shot appears to be somewhere in Midtown Manhattan about a quarter mile (or five city blocks) from Times Square.
